Deaf Links operates a Communication Service where you can book communication support for Deaf, hard of hearing and deafblind people.
This is part of Deaf Links social enterprise where all profits are used to provide a range of support services for Deaf, hard of hearing and deafblind people in Tayside. These services include independent advocacy, advice, information, training, health information and group activities, and are run from Tayside Deaf Hub.

Cost: £110 for the first two hours of the assignment, £40 per hour thereafter. This is all inclusive (administration and travel are not additional). This fee applies to BSL/English Interpreters, Electronic Notetakers, Lipspeakers, and Deafblind Communicator Guides.
Cancellations: Assignments cancelled more than 14 days prior to the date of the assignment will incur no cost. Assignments cancelled between 8 and 14 days prior to the date of assignment will incur a 50% charge of the final balance of the assignment. Those assignments cancelled less than 7 days prior to the date of the assignment will incur a 100% charge for the cost of the assignment.
Payment: For all invoices, payment is expected within 30 days of the assignment. Payments not yet received within this time frame will be subject to a £25 or 20%; whichever is the greater, administration charge each 28 days there after. Should payment not be received after 3 consecutive months, following the initial 28 days then the debt will be passed for collection from an agency, and the company will be black marked.
Feedback and details about you: DLCS will contact clients from time to time to ask for feedback. Your information will be kept secure and in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998.
